Which Super Bowl Contenders Home City Is Best for Real Estate?

Real estate company Redfin has a new blog out,Which Fans Have it Better, Boston or Seattle?, comparing real estate in the home cities of this year's Super Bowl contenders. Interestingly, Seattle beat out Boston as a better city for your real estate dollars. 

Though it wasn't compared, I wonder how the host city for the Super Bowl, Glendale would compare. Why Seattle and Boston are both beautiful and according to the  article share a very similar climate, though  Boston gets way more snow and sunshine, neither offer the year-round warmth of the Phoenix Area.

The Redin article sums up the Seattle and Boston comparison with,

At Redfin we like to have a little fun with all of the data that we have on hand. Last year we published reports on the best cities for coffee snobs, boating, vampires,home cooking and toilets. Yes, toilets. In each report, Seattle beat Boston, which often didn’t even make the top 10 list. There’s one exception: Boston came in fifth on our list of Best Cities to Be a Vampire, while Seattle was 10th. So if you enjoy boating, cooking, drinking coffee and quickly finding a loo after all that cooking and coffee, then Seattle is your city. If you enjoy being a creature of the night, head to Bean Town.

The old adage about real estate being local is true. There are great investments to be found in either city, it's just about knowing where to look.
